It’s interesting to read the many types of reactions to the end of a cycle in Mayan calendars. Many believe the world will really end and others believe this is the beginning of a new era. Even Christians have been deceived by this.
When I think of the Tabernacle, I also remember in John 1 where we learn that Jesus “tabernacled” with us. The Tabernacle is a picture of Christ.
“Hanukkah” is Hebrew for dedication. It has nothing to do with Christmas, but rather is a story of dedication and incredible conviction to follow God in a culture of compromise. Those who remained faithful did so with awesome courage.
