Rare Sunset Solar Eclipse 2014

You won’t want to miss the partial solar eclipse over North America on Thursday, October 23rd. The next solar eclipse over North America will be a total eclipse in three years.

Tomorrow, the sun will set looking like a fingernail for viewers in the Central and Eastern time zones. The solar eclipse begins about 2 PM on the west coast and about 6 PM on the east coast. See this article from EarthSky.org for more specific times for your part of the country.
