The Hydroplate Theory and Noah’s Flood

Hydroplate 750

I first learned of the hydroplate theory for Noah’s Flood proposed by Dr. Walter Brown on a TV special around 1986. You can watch the six-minute interview of Dr. Brown taken from this special on YouTube. The interview included an animation of his theory. Even though the quality is a little worn, this is one of my favorite videos. His theory gives a very plausible explanation of how the Flood occurred.

You might want to visit Dr. Brown’s web site and/or order his book, In The Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood. His book is on my bookshelf and I’ve used his material frequently for presenting creation evidence to students and other groups.

You can read the entire book online.
